The London Development Agency, the Mayor’s agency for jobs and people have provided the funding to ensure that this course is 90% subsidised and is affordable to all sizes of businesses in the industry.
Two companies, Shine People&Places and Shoregate Consulting are working together to deliver the programme. Shine are mentoring experts that specialise in the service and tourism industry. Shoregate Consulting is leading the programme and coordinating the partners.
The programme was developed in consultation with many different industry organisations and companies. Two industry bodies have been particularly supportive and are actively marketing the programme: The Tourism Network and the Tourism Society.
